Developers & ecommerce API

Ecommerce stores can add ISL as a delivery option: Bearer API key, quotes and shipment booking. Estimates and ISL-managed serial dispatch.

Quotes are estimates only. Booking enqueues an ISL-managed serial partner offer — the store does not pick the operating courier. Live carrier APIs and outbound webhooks are not in this release.

Overview

Partner ecommerce platforms call from their server with a Bearer API key to get local Bangladesh courier estimates and international chart estimates, then book into the ISL dispatch queue.

POST /api/v1/quotes — ranked estimate options
POST /api/v1/shipments — book into ISL serial queue
GET /api/v1/shipments/track?token=… — public status poll

Authentication

After partnership, ISL issues a Marketplace API key (Admin → Marketplace API). Store it in your server secret store — never in browser JavaScript.

Required: origin, destination, weight_kg. Dimensions (length/width/height_cm) recommended for local card matching.

ISL ranks partners by cheapest matching rate and offers one at a time. Decline or SLA timeout advances; accept locks the job.

Local vs international

local — BD courier lane cards (courier/door/transport on BD routes).
international — Vendor chart rows: country, zip, weight, dims, CBM, price, transit, commodities, HS, VAT/tax. Used for air/sea/customs or international country/destination.
Optional route_mode: local | international

Complex sea/air RFQs can still use POST /api/v1/rfqs.
